Final Girls by Riley Sager
2.0
This was a difficult oneeeee
Didn't like Sam and Tina at all, it was almost frustrating at times how Quincy "allowed" all that was happening.
At the same time, it wasn't as thrilling cause even thoughLisa ended up dead at some point, I wasn't even remotely invested in her so I didn't really care who did it 😅 .
The ending was also something that I didn't enjoy cause it didn't come off as a plot twist, like I didn't feel anything. I know we had Quincy as an unreliable narrator, but at the same time I found the ending pretty similar to the ending of "The Last time I lied", in the sense that the unassuming guy that was always in plain sight did it. And having read that book first, when we were nearing the end and it was obvious Johannes hadn't done it, it was easy for me to figure out who actually did.
Props to the fact that Sage 's books read amazingly as audiobooks, cause I tried an e-book format as well and couldn't get through it, whereas the audiobook made it so easy to consume!
