A Good Girl's Guide to Murder by Holly Jackson
4.0
When Pippa decides to make her small town's cold case the focus of her capstone project, she isn't sure what to expect. All she knows is that something doesn't feel right about the case's assumed murderer and she wants to discover the truth.
I love a good mystery and my god has YA mystery/thrillers improved over the past 15 years. I was able to speed through this book because it had me so curious as to what would happen next. It got a bit slow in the middle for me, but nothing that I couldn't push through. I had a few small complaints with it as reading, but overall I would say it was a solid, enjoyable mystery. I did guess parts of the ending, but was still throughly surprised with the plot twist, which is what I'm always looking for!
