This Will Be My Undoing: Living at the Intersection of Black, Female, and Feminist in (White) America by Morgan Jerkins

3.0

I don't read many memoirs, but the title and subject of this one drew me in. I appreciated how Jerkins articulated a lot of crucial points about speaking to people about race. And the sections about discovering her sexuality approached the topic from a new angle that I hadn't read from before. Her faith was another surprise in a feminist book, offering a new spin on these topics.
