People We Meet on Vacation by Emily Henry
5.0
I knew I was going to like this book right after I read the blurb on the back. I didn't expect to love it, though.
But I do. I love it. It's such a beautiful rendition of friends to lovers. I really like both Poppy and Alex, they are great characters, even if they're also so flawed. I thought for a moment that their relationship might be a bit toxic, seeing how they both cling to each other and love one another so deeply. But nah, this was awesome. It's a beautiful story, with all its flaws, ups and downs.
I also liked the structure of the book a lot. I'm not usually a fan of flashbacks and stuff, but this kind of storytelling worked perfectly in this case.
