The Globetrotters is a dazzlingly written middle grade fiction that uses the perfect combination of the author’s knowledge about the nature and the attraction of children towards illustrations to impart a wonderful lesson that every child needs to learn to grow up to be a good & kind human being!
Every single one us knows a boy like Adi @ Hudhud – a bully, arrogant & entitled boy who believes that everything he does or thinks is fun; even if it’s at the expense of others emotions! Maybe we were one; or maybe we were the receiving end of their jokes!
Hudhud and his friend, Sahil @Kilkila are having her usual fun, especially with the new History Teacher – but something that backfires on them; when she curses them to find the answer to the very important question – “What is the answer to all the wrongs?” And thus, starts the adventure of Hudhud & Kilkila; wandering about the Earth in various animal life forms!
Every adventure is accompanied by some very wonderful illustrations – and every adventure taught me something new about the world I inhabit; the animals that I never even gave a single thought to; with whom I shared this huge planet with!
The Globetrotters is a book that will definitely capture the imagination of any reader – but especially those readers who adore nature and wildlife & young readers whose parents want them to learn while they imagine the world around them!
Another beauty to pass on to my progeny one day!
