My One Night by Carrie Ann Ryan
4.0
Rating: 4.5 Stars
Dillon has something to prove. Elise is trying to get into the spirit of things. This is a story that may have you thinking of your days between high school and being a true adult – and for some, college. As I started to get to know our main characters, the word “sweet” comes to mind. Even the secondary characters were a pleasure to get to know.
The author includes the realism of how hard going to college can be. Trying to juggle a job, classes, friends, and a budding relationship. One thing about reading their trials and tribulations of all that, I felt I needed to have a sweet handy – when you read you will quickly figure out my choice. Sad thing to this was just like in real life, sometimes the true adults fail the children that are in their care. And it’s nice to know that at least the child turned out all right. If you like Dillon’s story, you may want to get to know his brothers by checking out the Fractured Connections series.
I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
