Prequel to Legends and Lattes. Viv is a newbie merc. She gets hurt and is brought to a small town to heal. She meets Fern, a bookstore owner and the two strike up a friendship. It has the cozy feels and likeable characters like the first book. This story didn't suck me in as quickly as the first but I still enjoyed it!
