August and Lucas complement each other so well. 

This is my favourite couple, the saying “I licked  it so it’s mine” applies here. I have a soft spot for the true psychopaths and that is August through and through. Watching August’s obsession with Lucas is so thrilling, you never know what August is going to do next, for a psychopath August is surprisingly sweet and tries his absolute best to give Lucas everything he needs even if he doesn’t fully understand it himself.  

I love that Lucas sees who the true August, and although apprehensive takes the time to get to know him, what he didn’t expect in return was to feel seen himself and most importantly trusted. August does not shy away from who Lucas is, from what Lucas can do, he believes in Lucas’ visions and it increases his fascination. The apprehension and lust makes for a delicious read. This book captured me from the get go. 

Truly gorgeous writing and a phenomenal read. 

Ps everything about the paperback/ hardcover and Alt covers are perfect! The colour, the model, the graphics even down to the font of the writing all tie together so beautifully
