Due. DUUUUUUDE. This book... like DAMN.
So the first half lulled me into a false sense of security. It was fun and kinda spooky. It gave me similar vibes to the Psych episode Tuesday the 17th. I was into it, following the mystery plot and rooting for the characters. Then I got to the second half and the mood changed.
The spooky vibes ramped up to creepy and terrifying. I went from casually reading to being glued to Every. Single. Word. Pretty sure my heart was racing. There were so many twists, there was no way to see everything coming and yet it all fit for perfectly together. And the ending... THE ENDING!
I'm not normally a slasher kinda girl, and parts of this kinda made me queasy, but this was a great read.
