Like the first book, it was over before it felt like it had gotten started. The premise was great and fun to read (which didn't take long), but the writing was pretty repetitive, lacking any subtlety, and the plot was very simple. If it wasn't so gruesome, particularly in how keen it is to shine a light on the inhumane sort of things that raiders are wont to do to women, it'd be a good book for kids.
