Sam feels family is important. Tucker likes to keep his business private. Both men are keeping secrets and that’s one reason to keep turning the page. When will, if at all, they be revealed?

There are scenes that seem as if they should be private but the author has given us the opportunity to be a voyeur. Will you blush? Yes, this is a relationship between two men but I don’t think the author has written anything that would make you feel uncomfortable. A lot will depend on what you’re used to.

For me, this was about two people trying to reconnect so they might have a second chance at a relationship. The author creates a lot of steam heat between the main characters but it’s also a story with a lot of heart. Having the blessing of those around them helps.

My nose kept smelling something as I got further into the story. Maybe it’s the next Ryker story? After getting a very sweet happy ending, I’m ready for more of this family. This was written as a standalone so it’s ok if you’ve not read the other books. But maybe you’ll want to find out what you’ve missed.

I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
