Loved this. This was just as beautifully dark and original as One Dark Window. Although the world and magic system were very captivating, I’m pleased the author chose to tie up the story in the way she did. As a duology, I feel the characters and plot played out in a really fulfilling way. I don’t know if it was the numerous POVs but the pace felt slower to start but in the second half of the book it picked up and became much easier for me to get swept up in the story.
