What My Bones Know: A Memoir of Healing from Complex Trauma by Stephanie Foo
emotional
informative

This was a really great memoir and exploration of generational trauma. I was anticipating a science-heavy book about trauma and psychology. While it did have some science, it was not quite what I expected, but even more. I loved the personal accounts from Foo and her drive to learn more about herself and her community. While it was deeply heavy at times, she also found strength in therapy, mindfulness, etc. and shows through lived experience that healing is not always almost never linear.
