2017: This review is about the audiobook, not the print/electronic version. I have no idea how good/bad the plot, writing or pace was. I got less than one chapter in, heard the sound effects of gunshots and glass breaking and instantly returned it to Audible. Talk about taking you out of the moment.

2019: I wanted to read the danged book so I bought the Kindle version. I actually enjoyed it, especially without sound effects. There are a few facts that were completely implausible (no spoilers here), but enjoy the story and the ride and all will be right again.
