I have found poetry to be an essential way to explore lived experiences and cultures outside of my own and Yaffa’s poetry is no exception. Poetry is radical in nature and perhaps one of the most honest and raw forms of media available to us. 

This collection is painfully visceral, deeply honest and personal. I simply cannot match the power of Yaffa’s own words in my review so I urge you to go read them for yourself.
