Kingdom of the Cursed by Kerri Maniscalco
2.0
Emilia didn’t really care about anything but getting revenge for what happened to her twin and get back home but of course that didn’t stop her from falling for Wrath. But it also didn’t mean she’d risk her heart in the progress. I loved that he didn’t want her to defenceless little princess but instead wanted to teach her fight against magic, so she would be safe from his brothers and he even took it seriously.
I like Emilia but I think this series would’ve been more interesting in Wrath’s POV and I really think the favor she agreed to do will bite her later. I don’t think she got to use her powers enough and the fact that this book has demons and witches made me want to read, so hopefully we will get more to it in the final installment. I also have some theories about our heroine.
All in I was a little indifferent to the romance. I was bored a lot during this read. I really hope that the romance picks up more.
