Ok let’s talk about ambrosia real quick. I loved book 1. Frost was so fun and cute and It was a really solid 4 star read for me! But I honestly didn’t love ambrosia as much. I did like it for sure. When the spice finally hit with Torin and Ava, it was so good! My only complaint in that the ending felt rushed alittle bit and the plot fell slightly flat for me.
So ambrosia is a slowburn as was book 1 and I don’t was hoping it would be a tad more spicy. I don’t need spice by any means but if it’s not spicy I do tend to compare the book them to the ya books that I still love and cherish to this day. And this book being less spicy don’t hold a candle to those for me.
So with all of that being said, I liked it. It was a good read. But I didn’t love it. 3.75.
