Daughter of No Worlds by Carissa Broadbent

5.0

In the most general sense, if you combined Throne of Glass and Bridge Kingdom, you would get this book. I absolutely devoured this book. I loved every chapter. I will be spending the next few weeks and/or days devouring books 2 and 3 plus the prequel.

**Minor Spoilers Ahead**

The general outline for this book is a young woman has been a slave for most of her life. She's always had more magical powers than her family or friends, but she's never had the training or time to fully understand it. She's been saving any spare tips she could for most of her dancing life to buy her freedom and go across the see to be trained in Arah.

Once there, she is told she is too old and there aren't any teachers left to take her on. She overcomes one obstacle after another, so that she can go back to her slave masters and free her friends.

I'm very excited to have found another must-read author in Carissa Broadbent.
