I tried. I really tried reading this through, but it just didn't click and I wasn't enjoying reading this anymore. The smut and sexual innuendos made me uncomfortable, and the relationship development felt so dry and rushed. Did not feel any sincerity with the writing (no hate for the author kay). Rowan x Zahira got no chemistry. The grumpy-sunshine trope didnt work with this one. I did heard Book two is so much better though. And Declan seems way better than Rowan anyway. Lmao. So yeah bye
