The Vanishing Stair by Maureen Johnson

Wow! That was a brilliant sequel man. I loved how the two story lines are running parallel to each other.
Stevie finds the mystery behind Ellie's disappearance and as an assistant to Dr Fenton who is writing a book on Ellingham mystery checks facts for her and explores clues. Again left at a cliffhanger but its all good when you read a series after it has completed. So digging into the third and last one. Can't wait!!
I have so many questions about the stairs and I wanted to know more about some of the characters from the first book but they are not mentioned here at all. And oh I had guessed the person behind the kidnapping, *hints* read the first book carefully, although it wasn't explored much in the first book but it had stuck to my mind and had left me curious since the start.
