The Happy Ever After Playlist by Abby Jimenez

I really enjoyed this one, but be warned it has A LOT of dramatic events and ups and downs, especially in the second half.

(I never use gifs but I couldn't resist this time)

It starts 2 years after Sloan lost her fiance. A dog jumps into her car. The dog owner, Jason, is a singer who is currently halfway across the world. They start getting to know each other on the phone until Jason gets back.

The first half of this book was pretty much everything I love in a falling-in-love part of a book or movie. It was sweet, funny, fluffy. Exactly what your heart needs after a stressful day at work. Or any day really.

The second half was a real rollercoaster ride. I enjoyed it, but for me I have to be in the right mood to enjoy that kind of thing. So that's maybe something to take into consideration before starting.
