Master of Furies by Raymond E. Feist
Did not finish book. Stopped at 80%.
I can’t. I cannot. I was so bored by this.
If I hadn’t already read the first two books in this series, I wouldn’t have kept going to long with this one. It’s feeling like a possible set-up trilogy to a new world of adventures. This is book three and we still don’t know much about the big bad or adversaries. I will be bowing out of this world , too many other more compelling stories and worlds to dive into.
If you do enjoy Feist’s style but would prefer not to have to invest in a 20+ book world, I recommend the Daughter of the Empire trilogy. They are an adjacent story to first Magician trilogy (which you don’t have to read before or after). I got into The Magician books through The Empire Trilogy by Raymond E. Feist and Janny Wurts.
