i haven't cried this much over a book since exodus. this is how you write a book with a plus size FMC and do it correctly. reading about a plus size FMC who doesn't absolutely hate her body but has normal anxieties and insecurities was such a nice breather compared to every other book i have read where the central part of the conflict in the book is the main character hating her body.

between april's confidence and ability to set boundaries and love herself and marcus's PHENOMENAL character arc, this book has solidified a spot in my heart for the rest of my life.

i cannot recommend this book enough to plus size women. i adored every second of this book and cannot wait to get my hands on the second book.
