Out On a Limb by Hannah Bonam-Young

5.0

Win has always been wildly independent and not one to be coddled for her limb difference. She has spent much of her life proving she can do it all on her own. That is until a one-night stand with a charming and perfect stranger, Bo, changes everything.

I've seen OUT ON A LIMB floating around often on Bookstagram over the last couple months and decided to jump in and see what it's all about! I was quickly enamoured with Hannah's writing style and storytelling. Her characters are well-developed, interesting, and relatable. The romance is very well done, and the healthy and clear communication between the two MCs is exceptionally refreshing.

Win and Bo start out as perfect strangers but over time become the real deal and I absolutely loved reading their shared story. As I just mentioned, Hannah's employment of clear and healthy communication between Win and Bo was so refreshing, but I also absolutely loved how they maintained respect towards each other, even in the most sticky of situations. I am not usually a fan of the main trope used in this story but it is so well done here and fits so perfectly for these characters that I couldn't help but love it. The chemistry, banter, and romance between Win and Bo is excellently done and feels very genuine.

I loved Sarah and Cade and would love to read their story one day if that's ever in the works!

The epilogue was adorable and I loved the long-running joke/memory it evokes about how these two characters came together.
