I don't read romance. I've tried and tried to read romance but there's something about the predictability of the plot and that damn happy ending that drive me crazy. Funny You Should Ask is a romance. And I read it. And I loved it. Why did I love it when I normally can't get past the first 50 pages of a romance? Funny you should ask.... This book was emotional and sweet without being saccharine. The story was interesting, the dual timelines interspersed with various articles and interviews we're engaging, and the characters felt genuine with enough sass and spice to stave off my anticipated boredom. Funny You Should Ask belongs on the shelf next to Robinne Lee's Idea of You.
