i am literally shaking as i'm writing this. of you think this is going to be any kind of a cohesive review you can gone head and stop now because truth be told i'm so shocked i don't even think i can rate this book. from the very beginning you get a sense of the turmoil and pain this book will put you through but you really just don't know what to expect. even with everything that happens every. single. chapter you just can't help but to feel like, "okay, okay we're getting there." and the whole time "there" is pain. grief. inexplicable agony.

raven was so stupid. she was! and it's like, okay, she was 17, but damn even at 17 i knew better! she got so far entwined so fast and so easily that you almost get whiplash from flipping the damn pages. i don't even know what to say about her. mizan can die though and i mean that from the pits of my soul.

ethic.....y'all i love ethic. so much that even after this i'm going to read all fifty-leven of his books just so i don't have to say bye to him just yet. throughout this whole book he's the one that's been my constant favorite. he was always so wise and level headed and attractive (which is funny enough because [redacted]). he's so real and if you don't read this book for any other reason than to be introduced to him, that's still enough.

i can't say too much because i'm afraid to spoil it, but i also can't in good conscious tell you that you HAVE to read the book. it's......a lot, but it is a good book with great writing and a crazy storyline. the choice is up to you! please read the tws though first!
