Thrones, Dominations by Dorothy L. Sayers, Jill Paton Walsh
3.0
The plot itself is very Sayers-esque, and it makes sense that she had already charted it out. The execution, however, is not. Peter and Charles are particular casualties, and the infinite nuance of Harriet and Peter's dynamic feels rather leaden; references to "current" events similarly heavy-handed. Still, I finished it in one go. But I found myself frowning at a distinctly un-Sayers turn of phrase a little too often to call it good.
