I love Kristen Granata books! Cassidy is a romance writer stuck in a rut after her boyfriend cheats on her. Trenton is a hockey player with a less than stellar image after finding out his fiance cheated in him with his best friend and teammate. After the paps picture Trenton helping Cassie get away from her ex boyfriend, Trentons PR agent drafts a fake dating contact to improve his image. Cassie agrees as long as he agrees to be inspiration for her next novel. This novella is adorable, gut wrenching, and sexy all in one. Granata manages to make all the characters so lovable and developed that 180 pages feels like 380. Legitimately my only issue with this book is how insta lovey it felt with the time jumps and conflict. They hate each other and then they don't. Theres like almost no in between.
