Vegetarian Chinese Soul Food: Deliciously Doable Ways to Cook Greens, Tofu, and Other Plant-Based Ingredients by Hsiao-Ching Chou

I really loved this cook book! I picked it up randomly at the library and I was excited to dive into these dish. I got so excited I immediately went to the Asian market so that I could try some of the recipes! One thing I really loved about this recipe book was the detailed chart about different soy sauces. I really enjoyed this because I have been trying out different types on my own with not that much guidance. I would see someone from a cooking video use a different brand and then I'd go get that brand and see how it worked with the dishes. Not only did this graph list different brands but it also listed , ingredient details, country of origin, sodium levels, flavor when raw and flavor when cooked! This was so helpful when I went to the market to shop.
The recipes were written with incredible detail in a yet easy to follow way.
There is even a recipe in here for gluten free dumpling dough! I'm so excited to try this because a lot of people in my life cannot have gluten. So I'm excited to make everyone a big batch of dumplings <3.

I highly recommend this cookbook!
I also highly recommend you check out the cookbooks at your local library!
