Coach by Devney Perry
2.5
'Coach' is a single dad, friends to strangers to lovers, second chance romance. Trope wise it sounds amazing, and I was so incredibly excited to read it. Unfortunately, I could not find myself caring for this couple or the main male character. I liked Millie, she was a great main character. I loved her personality, her job and the way everyone came to her for advice, and she was always so happy to help. I even liked Joey. She was an absolute sweetheart (okay, sometimes a brat, but I can look past it because of the circumstances). But I couldn't bring myself to care for her dad. Ford was so incredibly annoying. He only cared for himself (an,d sure his daughter). He wouldn't take no for an answer, and the reason to break things off with Millie in the past was such bĂșllshit. Okayish book, in my opinion, but the series does get a lot better!
