I‘ve always felt such ‘existential overwhelm’ as Burkeman terms it; this anxiety that there is so much to do and see but life is so terrifyingly short, that I never feel I can spend my time ‘well’. But this book has really opened my eyes to so many aspects of how I (and most people) view time, and how not accepting our limited abilities, our finitude, and always looking for some future sense of accomplishment is always going to leave you feeling unfulfilled and unhappy. Written in such an accessible, humorous, easy to read way too, I’m so thankful I gave this book a chance bc I think it’s going to really improve where I find meaning and how I value my time!!
