A review by jordana
Capital and Ideology by Thomas Piketty

3.0

Holy shit, I can't believe it. After 8 months, I'm finally done. Piketty is undoubtably a genius, but this book was perhaps a bit too ambitious. As he says, the purpose is not to provide end-all solutions to inequality regimes, but to spark debate about how they can be resolved. This book does an admirable job of doing so, but can be so much of a slog at times that it's probably better just to read a brief summary and do further reading on sections of interest.

R.I.P to my cat's favorite book to nap on.
