Did not finish book. Stopped at 26%.

I usually love Caroline & Susanne’s work but I could not get past the 200 page mark, especially when I found out there was 700 pages in total. Don’t get me wrong it had a good premise. But it was painfully in your face ‘I love Britain.’ I’m British and reading this was hard. Benny I liked, and I would’ve liked to see where the story went, plus the spice was good, but I could not get past the constant British idioms and imagery, was way to sweet and sickly. 

This does not put me off reading their other books, but this one is not for me.
