Hamilton's Battalion: A Trio of Romances by Courtney Milan, Alyssa Cole, Rose Lerner
4.0
I was very excited to see this collection of revolutionary war romances.
Of course, I started with The Pursuit Of, an interracial, m/m romance from Courtney Milan! I absolutely fell in love with the Heroes. A beautiful story, completely well-rounded as a novella but I wish it was full length just so I could see more of them!
Then I read Promised Land by Rose Lerner. It was fine, and the depiction of Jewish life was interesting, but The Pursuit Of was such a hard act to follow that I didn't really get into it much. I haven't read the last story, That Could Be Enough, yet.
(note: I would actually recommend reading the three stories in order, since there are small connections between them.)
