I really enjoyed the first two books of this series, and I'm still not sure why it took me TWO years to actually pick up the third book. Eye Of The Sh*t Storm is just as crazy, exhilarating and action-packed as the first two books, and I would definitely suggest reading the books in order both to properly understand what is going on and to avoid major spoilers. We finally get mainly Teagan's POV in this sequel, although Reggie's POV does pop up every once in a while... But no annoying villain POV to ruin the day this time around, and this is probably why Eye Of The Sh*t Storm is my favorite sequel to date. It has the same blunt and sarcastic humor I've become used to, and it works SO well to defuse some of the constant tension in the plot... It is also one of the reasons why I love Teagan so much as a character; she is simply hilarious and her special powers make her more than memorable. Los Angeles isn't exactly in good shape after what happened in the first two books, and it sets the scene for this sequel... Add a new player with electrical powers, and things are getting very interesting (and dangerous) indeed. Especially with more than one adversary in play... With its fast pace, I literally raced through Eye Of The Sh*t Storm as I HAD to know how it would all end. Sure, the plot isn't exactly credible and basically absolutely bonkers, but if you are able to just sit back and enjoy the wild ride it is an encredibly entertaining one. I'm looking forward to see what book four will bring!
