What a cute tale combining Russian and Chinese folklore! I love a good story containing creatures from fables, and I was not disappointed. It was also a classic tale of friendship and overcoming challenges for our main characters, Lucy and Su. Some of the challenges that Lucy and Su faced felt a little predictable, but but it was still an endearing story.
