This book was recommended to me on StoryGraph and I absolutely loved it. The plot jumps between Tova, a young man named Cameron, with a couple chapters from Marcellus. At first, I was unsure of how Cameron fit into the story- I knew he would somehow, but it took a little time for it to click. I loved most of the characters (Cameron isn't my favorite, with his attitude, but he eventually grew to be okay) but Marcellus the giant Pacific octopus with his dry humor and wit was just... UGH SO FANTASTIC. I would absolutely love to re-read this in the future. I laughed, I cried, I sat on the edge of my seat in anticipation; 10/10 reading experience.

Also, the cover??? So beautiful.
