As someone who never really confronted the topic of motherhood I found this book to be very informative. It doesn’t hold back and gives you the full rollercoaster of emotions women have to go through before birth and while raising a child. This book could give so many people a glimpse of the female experience and the responsibility of having a child in our society.
The only thing it could improve on is that I wish the critique on mexican society and healthcare could’ve been expanded a bit.
