The Office: The Untold Story of the Greatest Sitcom of the 2000s: An Oral History by Andy Greene

4.0

The Office goes into the story of how The Office, an iconic sitcom, came to be and how it progressed over the years.

This is definitely aimed at the hardcore fans who love the show and those that love the background information on the entertainment industry. I really enjoyed it! It was a quick and enjoyable read and I definitely learned some things I didn't know before. I loved especially hearing from the writers and those behind the scenes that made this iconic show come to life. I think it was also super interesting to me because even though I really love The Office, I love Parks and Recreation more as it's less focused on questionable humor. And learning about The Office also gave me some insight on Parks and Rec and other shows that took the mockumentary format.
