Sea of Tranquility by Emily St. John Mandel
4.0
I love this kind of time travel story - if you like movies like Predestination, La Jetée, or Primer, you'd probably really like where this goes. There's some really interesting scifi worldbuilding as well - it's tertiary to the narrative, and the book is pretty short, but that part was well written anyway.
I did think it took a bit too long to get started, which was doubly more annoying because it's so short (only six hours on audio!), but once it really got moving it all made sense and I'd probably like this even more on a re-read. The audio was terrific; four narrators really bring some of these characters to life. I was really impressed with the depth Mandel was able to get to in such short length.
I should get around to reading Station Eleven, huh?
