Ice Planet Holiday by Ruby Dixon
4.0
Ice Planet Holiday is set to happen between Barbarian Mine and Barbarian's Prize. The girls are getting sad about not having a calendar or holidays, so they decide to great their own holiday to unite humans and aliens. It mostly focuses on this holiday that aliens decide to start calling no-poison day, Georgie's pregnancy and Claire. It's always adorable when humans try to teach human things to the aliens.
"My mate, you know you shall have whatever you desire. You know this, yes? You could ask for my horns to be cut from my head and I would gladly do so if it would make you smile."
Georgie feels like she has been pregnant forever while other women keep having adorable babies. She really just wants to get the baby out of her stomach and she feels like Vektal deserves better than to deal with her emotions over it all.
Claire didn't resonance but she decided to be with Bek back in the first book because she was scared and he showed interest in her. But now she's realizing some things about him and this holiday gives her a good excuse to handle it.
I think I liked this book more the second time around.
