The Werewolf of Bamberg by Oliver Pötzsch
3.0
I have read the first 4 books in this series (the last one in 2017) and picked this one up for the 2021 PopSugar category of a 'book with 3 generations in it". Since it's been a while that I was in stories with the characters, it took ma a little to get used to their idiosyncrasies and over thinking of things.
Once again, the inspiration for this story was something that was based on real history (the Bamberg Witch Trials), but with his creative license of adding a werewolf to the story 40 years after those events. In the other books I wasn't able to figure out "who done it", but as we got closer to the end on this one, I started to suspect who it was, just not why it was happening. Overall it's a good book, but there were places that could have been edited down and to make this a 500 page book instead of almost 600.
