The book is a view into severe childhood trauma, how a traumatic person thinks and views life, how his interactions with people around him happens.

The book contains a lot of disturbing things such as child abuse, sexual abuse, toxic relationships, self-mutilation, suicide, rape, drug addiction & violence.

The characters chemistry is probably the main strength of the book, it is really interesting to see them grow up together and see how they change and how their interactions evolve, positively and negatively
