Yona of the Dawn, Vol. 14 by Mizuho Kusanagi

reread

our group is now on the water tribe territory. and a mysterious affliction seems to be plaguing this town.

we meet lili (this translation calls her riri, and i can't, she's lili in the anime so she's lili in my heart) and this manga is slowly adding a cast of female characters in an interesting way. captain gigan was the motherly figure yona never had. lili is yona's mirror. she's the sheltered highborn girl that's trying to fight for her people. she's yona if yona hadn't had all that trauma to go through.  and friendship, tho lili reads very much as a lesbian and i'm shipping her two female bodyguards together, no one can stop me.
