Ruthless Vows by Rebecca Ross
- Plot- or character-driven? A mix
- Strong character development? It's complicated
- Loveable characters? Yes
- Diverse cast of characters? It's complicated
- Flaws of characters a main focus? It's complicated

actually a very well done ending to the duology. iris and roman have my heart.
“write me a story that doesn’t end… write me, and fill all of my blank spaces” had me gagged, that entire paragraph had me crying. rebecca ross genuinely is the only fantasy writer i can somehow still stomach, and this book was definitely more … fantastical than the first. nonetheless i still ate it up, still remained engaged and i loved it so so so much.
the letters back and forth, and the way the main pairing just . got each other and got each other through their circumstances 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
i want a love like that :(
