the writing was very personable.. i thought this would be a restaurant memoir but honestly i usually dont remember what the summary says when i start a book bc i usually just add it to my tbr and forget about it until i see it on libby. anyway, this was enjoyable and offered a take on how feminism and growing up in the 80s-90s shaped how women especially look at food
