A special thank you goes out to Entangled Teen publishing for allowing me to read this early! All thoughts and opinions are my own!
I need to own this book like yesterday. I kid you not. I started this book around 4:30am, thinking oh, I'll just get a start on it and finish it tomorrow. Nope. I was instantly hooked and read almost continually until 7:30am. I couldn't put the book down, it was that good!
This is also the kind of book that is hard to review because everything is considered a spoiler. Trust me, you'll want to go into this blind so I'm sorry if my review seems really vague and mysterious. It's better this way.
I feel like I can at least talk about the characters (somewhat) without spoiling anything. Grace was amazing. I adored her. She is this super shy girl with social anxiety and she was just so relatable. Normally, I have a hard time reading about characters with anxiety but for some reason, I could read about Grace and not feeling anxious about her anxiety at all. I just really loved her as a character and I loved her strength and her growth.
I didn't care for Ander as a character but I still liked reading about him. He's a very broken guy with a lot of issues. I could see the charm and why he was so well liked as a person. My heart did break for this guy and there was a while there were I was really rooting for him.
Finn was my absolute favorite. He wasn't my favorite right away but once Grace got to know him, I liked him better and better. I understood his weird sense of humor and why he was the way he was. I feel like that is all I can say about him because anything more would be too much. Just trust me when I say that you guys will learn to love him.
There is just so much I want to say but I won't because like I said above, this book is better off going in blind. As soon as it hits and I have money, I will be buying this book. I want to read it over and over again. I recommend that everybody read this as soon as it hits!
