( Warning that this book does involve a pregnancy trope, since it's about the mother of monsters) For me this book was a 5 star read simply because it had me torn. It was very dear to me and made me think about my mother and all the things she went through to raise me and my siblings alone, and always loved me no matter what. It was hard reading Loki's constant screw ups and betrayal but seeing how Angroboda still loves her "monstrous" children no matter what was the key for me.
