City of Fallen Angels by Cassandra Clare
3.0
I'm surprised to say that I enjoyed City Of Fallen Angels. It might not belong to one of my favorite books but I thought this one was going to be such a disappointment after Clockwork Angel, especially since the series was supposed to have only three books.
I felt bad for Clary in this book. She was already feeling insecure and her boyfriend's actions weren't helpful. I also didn't like how she acted like she was so important just because she helped stop the war.
I'm mostly confused by how almost every character acted in this book. Simon's confused but I don't get why he never told the truth to Maia and Izzy. Jace never bothered to tell anyone what was going with him and Alec is super jealous by all the people Magnus has dated.
I always hear people comparing writings of books but me being me I don't really see the difference. But I did enjoy the writing in this one more than in earlier books. That's probably why it didn't take me two weeks to finish the whole book.
City Of Fallen Angels is more focused on relationships than action, so I think that made me enjoy the book even more. Most people who love fantasy books also love action but I like to see how different relationships deal in the fantasy world. It might have been full of angst but I'm enjoying re-reading these books more and more.
