Posey has helped all his friends find love but hasn't seemed to find it himself. He falls for the one person he shouldn't, the coach's daughter. When his coach asks him to help teach his daughter a lesson. He agrees with trepidation. Wylie just wants to start her career as an illustrator, but her dad wants her to get a comfortable career in business. She will jump through hoops to prove she can make it, even if it means catering to her crush's every whim.
I loved Posey and Wylie together. I loved watching the two of them work so hard to get the other to crack and give in to the attraction that was there. These two were so deliciously hot for each other, it was amazing. When not taunting each other, Posey was such a golden retriever, supporting Wylie with everything he could. I loved watching Wylie come into her own and finding her voice in the career she wanted.
I'm not sure I understood the coach's reasons for being so set on not supporting Wylie and everything she wanted.
I continue to love Meghan Quinn's writing and the humour that she brings to these books. I look forward to more Vancouver Agitator's novels in the future!
Read if you like: hockey romance, age gap, coach's daughter, forced proximity, slow burn.
